The movie “1506 – The Lisbon Genocide” shows a massacre against the Jews that has been forgotten. On the 19th April begun the start of the massacre which for three days assassinated about three thousand Jews in Lisbon. The bonfires went as high as the houses, in a city filled with quartered bodies where heads were paraded on the points of spears.

In 1496, King D. Manuel prohibited Judaism. 400 years later, Barros Basto, a Portuguese army captain converted to Judaism, and about twenty Jewish merchants founded the Jewish Community of Oporto, in the north of Portugal.

Based on the tale of the Prodigal Son, 'Prodigal' is a film about the relationship about father and son, and a simple gesture of love. Shot on 16mm in a single location.

"Toponymy - As Memórias do Porto" is a journey in a slow, but panoramic train to the past. This film intends to leave a legacy of ancient customs and crafts that began to fall into disuse in the "Cidade Invicta" and to document the collective memory of Porto, represented here by Alfredo, an imaginary and dreamlike character, and an ageless guide.

“1618” is a film about the inquisitorial visit to Porto that encountered resistance from priests, ordinary citizens and the city authorities themselves, all accustomed for centuries to living alongside the Jews.

Here we meet Leandro, a fisherman who leads an honest life until the day he kills a man who abuses his daughter. Forced to flee, he wanders through the countryside until he is taken in by João Senteiro, the elderly leader of a gang of thieves. Leandro joins the group and tries to save money to escape to Brazil. But when the regional administrator offers a reward for the capture of the gang, Leandro's sense of justice is put to the test once again.

A theft of water, a homicide, a question of honour, a tragedy in the village of Gralhas, Montalegre.
