The film is about a parallel college teacher who owns a bizarre and timid personality which forces his friends to fool him by posting him letters in the name of a girl. He gradually develops an intimate relationship with her but all his efforts to meet her are in vain. What happens when he actually meets her, and comes to know that she even had no idea about his existence, forms the crux of the story.

Krishnamurthy is appointed by a real estate company to vacate Vietnam Colony, a place buzzing with illegal and antisocial elements.

Mammootty plays the role of a burglar who is known by different names in different places.He is a kind person and uses the money burgled to help poor and orphans. During one of his burglaries, he happens to witness a murder for which a police officer named Shekharan is falsely accused. He helps Shekharan to prove his innocence.

A spoilt rich man Kuttapayi befriends a group of four college students. Kuttapayi uses them to do a lot of his dirty work. When things go awry they take refuge in Kuttapayi's remote estate; where his past catches up with him.

Her brothers join the fight and Sivasankaran declares that he will marry Kunju in 15 days.

The story revolves around two friends Narayanan Kutty and Balan. Narayanan, known for his flirtatious behaviour with rich women is tricked by his friend Balan. Will Narayanan decode the trap?
