Rohaya (Roekiah) must separate from her lover, Kasim (Rd Mochtar), so that she can marry her father's choice, the disreputable but rich Musa (Eddie T. Effendi). The night before the wedding, Kasim plays the song "Terang Boelan" for Rohaya, and they agree to elope. The following day, Rohaya and Kasim escape from Sawoba Island to Malacca, where Kasim begins work at a drydock and Rohaya keeps busy as a housewife. They discover that Kasim's old friend, Dullah (Kartolo), has lived in Malacca for some time.

Lana and Joko are childhood friends. Joko has moved away from his family and chooses to live on his own, even in poverty. Lana, on the other hand, is tired of living with her rich family. They both fall in love with each other. Joko tries to write songs and succeeds. He becomes a rich man but also very superficial. The thing that drove Lana away from her family has now become a part of her own life.

Badrowi disturbs a married woman he's in love with on her wedding night and kills her husband. He's then severely beaten by villagers and his body is thrown into a ravine. There, he gains supernatural powers from a spider and then starts terrorizing the village.

A hero of revolution returns to civilian life to find the new society very different from the ideals he fought for.

The story begins with a commotion in court during the trial session of a wild girl who was involved with pornographic photos when a former nurse appeared to reveal that the girl was the daughter of a famous tycoon in Jakarta. Meanwhile, the rich man's daughter who had just gotten married was the biological child of the wild girl's mother, who was a prostitute. An alligator catches the girl and she's brought to the kingdom at the bottom of the sea ruled by the Alligator Queen. Once a grown Dewi (who has revenge on her mind) and the Alligator Queen see handsome young Linggar (who's actually Dewi's brother!) a power struggle erupts.

Richard, who is still in love with Aida, tries to separate Rhoma from the girl. While filming a scene, Rhoma is stabbed for real. While Rhoma is in hospital, Imron, a Rhoma impersonator is introduced. Then a scenario is written for Richard to get Aida. Later, Rhoma impersonates Imron and pulls Imron’s girlfriend Nina out from prostitution. Finally, Rhoma is able to solve the whole drama and Aida is back in his arms. Rhoma’s songs, which are his trademark and selling point, continue to be used.

Standard minimally-plotted good guys vs. bad guys Indonesian action hokum. The entire film is essentially a series of fight scenes, training or meditation.

Two doctors, Robert and Siska, are assigned to a village in the area of Bromo but their presence creates conflict. The villagers, who normally consult a shaman for their health issues, are not used to modern medical doctors. The tension tises when a patient who used to be treated by shaman, dies and there’s nothing that Robert can do. Meanwhile, Siska suffers an unexplainable illness and also dies. Strange illnesses then start to emerge in surrounding villages. Finally, the doctor and the shaman help each other. When the shaman is dying, the doctor treats him.

Andy (Harry Capri), a handsome young man with a decent income, managed to tarnish Tini (Meriam Bellina), a beautiful maid of the boarding house mother, Mrs. Murni (Ida Kusuma). Finally, when Lia pays Nina’s ransom by sleeping with a wealthy man she previously refused, Handy shows up. Handy knows Lia’s activity through Lucy. Together with her sister, she kills Harun, and also Daniel, the other kidnapper. Despite this, Handy still offers his love to Lia.

Ratih is an innocent and honest village woman. She is married to Hartomo, who considers her not a woman of his choice, as he married her at the request of his mother. Hartomo leaves for Jakarta to look for a new life while distancing himself from Ratih. Ratih and her mother-in-law follow him to Jakarta. Hartomo goes on an adventure with several women that he likes. Eventually, he is ready to marry the woman of his choice. On the other hand, Ratih has gone through soul searching and becomes a wise woman. This search leads to their meeting in a cramped house in a village area of Jakarta. Ratih has to choose either to return to Hartomo or accept Mulyono who sincerely loves her. With an intelligent reason, Ratih chooses Hartomo.

A melodramatic suffer-fest that would give Lars von Trier pause. On a quest to find her biological father, teenager Yeni is sidetracked when she's raped by her stepfather and ends up in a nuthouse. After she's released, her prostitute sister takes her to work at a brothel. There, she becomes second wife to an old, miserable man until her stepfather returns and tries to lay claim on her. After unsuccessfully trying to strangle Yeni to death, he and Yeni's mother get in a fight and end up stabbing each other to death. Once Yeni finds out she's pregnant, she's then rejected by her miserly husband, who denies the child is his.

City students come to the village for KKN with all their arrogance and pretentiousness, led by a fat student named Joe (Didi Petet). Many problems arise, starting from Budi (James Lapian) and Imam (Leroy Oesmani) who are not doing KKN well, but instead competing for a beautiful village flower named Neneng (Deasy Ratnasari). Likewise with Pinky (Meriam Bellina) and May (Sylvana Herman) who went down to the village as if they were going to shop at an elite shop. Their arrival also made the village hoodlums feel angry, so that the KKN activities were disturbed.
