The story of Tantini from the Sanca Bachtiar family who is kidnapped and later adopted by the Arnold van Dyk family. They change her name into Tinneke. Sanca finds out about her daughter’s whereabout several years after the child is declared dead. He tries hard and eventually succeeds on getting Tinneke back.

Saraswati and Pandu get married. Sam, whose love was rejected by Saraswati, intrudes into their lives. Saraswati’s concern is proven when Pandu has an accident. He breaks his leg and his face is injured. With a help of a shaman, Sam manages to disfigure Pandu's face and seduce Saraswati. An eccentric girl named Euis is betrothed by her parents to a young man who is the son of a landowner. Things turn out differently, as Euis is more interested in an equally eccentric motorcycle taxi driver named Beno. The failure of the landlord's son's love resulted in Euis and Beno having to pay losses and pay their debts. Of course, this makes it difficult for them. Fortunately, Grandpa Lihun, Euis's grandfather, appears, whom she hasn't seen in a dozen years. Grandpa Lihun was the one who paid all the losses and debts of Euis' family. Grandpa Lihun was suddenly rich because he had just sold his land. Beno and Euis got married the next day.

The story follows Erwin, who gets Peggy pregnant but refuses to take responsibility, claiming it was just a fling and citing Peggy’s past history of living together unmarried. Peggy refuses when asked to abort the pregnancy. Later, Erwin falls in love with Rosa, whom he also gets pregnant; this time he wants to take responsibility, but his parents disapprove. Eventually, Rosa dies while attempting to abort her pregnancy. Erwin then wishes to marry Peggy, but she refuses. Erwin pursues Peggy until he manages to win her back.

Snake lady Dewi kills a woman and steals her baby to be a companion for her own child. She returns to her form as a snake after she hands the babies to her shaman husband. When the babies, Sari and Maya, are adults, they are taught black magic and Sari is manipulated by her father to commit terror and murder in the village.

A naughty high school graduate, Randi, has his eyes on Maya, a beautiful girl he once wooed. So he enrolls in Padjajaran University, Bandung, where Maya studies. Slowly he manages to date her. After they are intimate, Randi receives a scholarship to Tokyo. Randi goes to Tokyo after impregnating Maya. She is confused when she has to face Randi’s parents and also her own mother (who explains that Maya is the daughter of Anwari Sudjarwadi, Randi’s father). Eventually, Maya marries Randi’s friend, the impotent Deni. Randi is called home by his parents who regret trying to use money to solve the pregnancy problem. Randi’s return leads to many misunderstandings. Apparently Randi is Anwari’s adopted son because his mother is infertile.
