Alice is a clumsy and passionate coroner resident. She fights between life and love complexities. Even tough she still has a lot to learn, she has a special quality: empathy with the victims that leads her to have crucial intuition in the cases that she works on.

In late 19th-century Turin, young Lidia Poët fights against everything and everyone to get what is rightfully hers: to be enrolled in the official register of lawyers; a profession, at the time, reserved exclusively for men. 1944, Piedmont Alps. Four teenagers dream of the end of the war and the moment when they will be reunited with their parents and older siblings. When they discover, by chance, that their age allows them to avoid suspicion and searches, they decide to secretly help the partisans, without being discovered. Marta, Davide, Sara and Marco thus become "Sandokan", the mysterious rebel who puts the Nazis and fascists of the valley in difficulty. Between steep climbs and breathtaking descents, between enormous dangers and great tests of courage, the four children will contribute to the final victory of the Resistance and the liberation of Italy from enemy occupation. A great partisan adventure and a story of love and friendship, told from the point of view of thirteen-year-old Marta.

The movie is a biopic about Mia Martini, an italian singer who died in 1995.

Five down-on-their luck strangers meet by chance while looking at a property in the country none of them are able to afford. They decide to join forces and risk everything to turn it into a B&B, only for the local mafia to show up demanding their "fair" share.
