Amelia Boone

Amelia Boone is one of the most accomplished and decorated obstacle course racing (OCR) athletes in history, widely celebrated as a four-time world champion and an icon of endurance sports. Born in Portland, Oregon, in 1983, Boone famously did not discover her talent for racing until age 28, signing up for her first Tough Mudder event while working as a young corporate attorney. Nicknamed "The Queen of Pain" for her legendary capacity to endure suffering, she went on to dominate the sport by winning the Spartan Race World Championship in 2013, becoming the only three-time female champion of the grueling, 24-hour World's Toughest Mudder (2012, 2014, and 2015), and finishing the diabolical multi-day Death Race three times.
