Adam Neumann is a member of a Jewish family living in Berlin. His grandfather, who has Alzheimer, is the head of this family and he had to leave the business because of his condition. The old man says that Adam is the reincarnation of a messiah and this unwelcome ideas start to bother the family. Adam becomes increasingly paranoid and gradually embarks on a spiritual quest, questioning his own reality. By accident or perhaps by chance, he reaches the beaches of Tulum, encountering the natural beauty of a place that will change his destiny.

Eyal, an Israeli Mossad agent, is given the mission to track down and kill the very old Alfred Himmelman, an ex-Nazi officer, who might still be alive. However, the honeymoon proves short-lived, and Ida's presence creates a rift between Otto and Leo, as the latter sets up his own concern, raising koi with his new bride, Yoko.

After a night of partying, Paul finds the body of his girlfriend in their shared apartment. Even his best friend Max believes he killed her in a drunken stupor. Nevertheless, he takes action to make the corpus delicti disappear - with a bone saw and a grain mill. But uninvited guests keep turning up, be it a neighbor, janitor, mother or colleague.

The Threepenny Opera proclaims itself "an opera for beggars," and it was in fact an attempt both to satirize traditional opera and operetta and to create a new kind of musical theater based on the theories of two young German artists, composer Kurt Weill and poet-playwright Bert Brecht. The show opens with a mock-Baroque overture, a nod to Threepenny's source, The Beggar's Opera, a brilliantly successful parody of Handel's operas written by John Gay in 1728. In a brief prologue following the overture, a shabby figure comes onstage with a barrel organ and launches into a song chronicling the crimes of the notorious bandit and womanizer Macheath, "Mack the Knife." The setting is a fair in Soho (London), just before Queen Victoria's coronation. In this production, Weill champion HK Gruber led the Ensemble Modern in a performance of Weill's complete original score, the first time it had been heard in Germany in many years. Wanda, a dominatrix who runs an S&M gallery on the Hamburg waterfront, must choose between her lesbian lover and an American trainee.

He then proceeds to play one person off against another, dismiss with cruelty his recent lover Ali, sleep openly with his leading lady Gudrun, and make a direct and public play for his leading man, Walter. A diverse group of guests gather in a small hotel in Paris to contemplate the state of their lives in this pretentious drama. Joseph Goldman (Fernando Rey) is a washed-up Hollywood actor making a living in the dinner-theater circuit. Accompanied by his wife Sarah (Carole Regnier), Goldman meets Frederique (Berangere Bonvoisin), who is hiding from her former lover. French financier Arthur (Fabrice Luchini) hopes to get into the film industry and bends the ear of a British director (Michael Medwin). The talkative film has little action, and none of the characters evoke much interest or resolve their dilemma.

Max Taurus, a sort of amateur detective, pursues the traces of general omni-present crime back to a partially demolished house. There, the remaining tenants try to gain pleasure and power from progressive abandonment in order to tear down their own conventionalities.

On her explorations in the real world, Maria finds the castle and the boy from her dreams again. He is lying in a coma in the intensive care unit of a clinic. Maria tries to bring him back to life through her music.
