Dayton Ohio's legendary Guided By Voices plays Melkweg in Amsterdam in support of 1996's Under the Bushes, Under the Stars.

This film chronicles the legend of Guided by Voices, a tale of pop music mastery through self-reliance. Filmmaker Banks Tarver documents the history of the band leading up to the release of their tenth album, Under the Bushes Under the Stars.

A short home video filmed by Banks Tarver around the same time as Watch Me Jumpstart, showing Guided by Voices' Robert Pollard drinking with friends and rummaging through a box of art scraps used for album covers. This film remained unreleased until the DVD of Watch Me Jumpstart came out in 2003.

Live performance recorded at an empty venue in Dayton, OH in summer 2020, in place of a live tour cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Labor Day weekend 2023, the club was open — or rather, the Masonic temple was open. That’s when Dayton, Ohio indie rock legends Guided by Voices celebrated their 40th anniversary as a band with a pair of hometown shows supported by some very talented peers and followers (Dinosaur Jr, Built to Spill and Heartless Bastards). GBV classics, both old and new, were captured for posterity as Bob and the fellas start laying the foundation for the next forty years.
