The Christmas tree is already dressed, the table is set, the only thing missing is the first star so that you can sit down to dinner. The girl accidentally learns that the Christmas Eve star was hidden by an evil, jealous witch. The search begins, the heroine is helped by her beloved mascot - a teddy bear.

A young cat named Marcel is fed up with living in the old mill and starts his journey. He catches one sneaker while fishing. The flying raven, MSc Plato tells him it's a seven-mile sneaker, judging from the word "7M". Marcel decides to try it out, but it doesn't work. Magister Plato thinks a second sneaker is needed. A staging of William Shakespeare's tragedy, directed in 1969 by Andrzej Wajda. The roles of Macbeth and Lady Macbeth are played by Tadeusz Łomnicki and Magda Zawadzka - actors who at that time gained popularity in the series "Pan Wołodyjowski". This perverse use of the artists' images by the director was intended to serve an interpretation of the tragedy that emphasizes Shakespeare's question: where does evil in man come from?
