French cinema meets Florida thriller as Sarasota detectives struggle to find the whereabouts of two missing girls from an uncooperative Frenchman staying in a cheap motel.

After fighting with his boss and losing his job, Monty, a semi-successful thespian, flees back home to live with his parents under false pretenses. His old friends and family are left to deal with his inflated ego, while he comes to terms with the fact he isn't as 'great' as he may believe.

Named after an area of Southwest Florida notorious for opioid use and starring actual residents, Fettyland is a verité tale of four flophouse roommates hustling and chasing down any scam they can to stay off the streets for just one more day.
