Irina Kara

British actress Irina Kara was born in Russia. She studied at the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography in Moscow in the class of a legendary Soviet film director Sergei Bondarchuk ("War and Peace" Oscar winner, 1968). After graduating in 1989 she settled in the UK. She works extensively in theater, film and TV. Her credits include Lena Ulianova in Vigen Chaldranyan's film "Lord Have Mercy" (Armenfilm, 1995), a role of Amy's mother, alongside Olga Kurilenko in "La Corrispondenza" by Guiseppe Tornatorre (2016) and "Snowman" by Thomas Alfredson (2017).
