Vanessa Whyte
Vanessa is a UK-based cinematographer whose recent work includes The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin for Apple TV, and the multi-award winning Ted Lasso Seasons 2 and 3. Her other TV work includes the pilot for Mawaan Rizwan's Juice, Season 1 of Whitstable Pearl and Season 1 of All Creatures Great and Small for Channel 5 and Masterpiece PBS, which was nominated for Best Drama Series at the Broadcasting Press Guild Awards 2021 and for which Vanessa was nominated for Best Cinematography at the Golden Panda Awards. Vanessa shot the 2018 BAFTA and Royal Television Society Award-winning drama Murdered for Being Different, for director Paul Andrew Williams for the BBC, and teamed up with him again to shoot the six-part ITV series A Confession, written by Jeff Pope and starring Martin Freeman, Imelda Staunton, Joe Absolom and Siobhan Finneran, which was nominated for Best Mini Series at the BAFTA TV Awards 2020, Best New Drama at The National Television Awards and Best Drama Series at the Broadcast Awards.
