Tim Ellrich

Two neighbors jump into an unexpected friendship outside their windows.

Living in limbo for 30 years - physically in Germany but virtually in Vietnam via constant Skyping and karaoke chatrooms - a couple is torn on where to call home when a storm destroys their house in Vietnam that held the promise of their eventual return.

A therapist whose interests lie in alternative ways to help the sick and infirm is forced to balance the demands of her professional life with those of her ageing parents and older brother, in Tim Ellrich’s sensitive but uncompromising drama.

Tahir's life is marked by a daring double life. He is fascinated by the wearing of the niqab, a cloth covering the face worn by some Muslim women, and finally decides to put on the dress. He is surprised by his son but before he can explain the incident, his wife appears and start a fight. But if he had to choose between tolerance and traditions, what would he choose?

The short film tells the story about three brothers who try to dive back into their childhood by re-enacting an old family picture.
