Commanded by Mr. Simón and his beautiful teenage daughter Lily, the Fantastic Circus arrives in a small town. A homeless boy joins the troupe after fleeing a theft. As he does not bear the children's happiness, the evil Makario uses his magic so that the show fails, but the clown Cepillín will stand up to him using the children's smile and laugh as a spell.

In Mexico, young orphan Ricky's life will be turned upside down when the most famous clown in the country comes to his village.
