The Athletic Model Guild (AMG) was the patriarch of "physique" photographers. In a half-century of photographing nude young men, AMG's Bob Mizer produced thousands of charming, surprisingly moralistic movies. Join us in taking a look back at this bygone era of innocent sexuality.

Two scantily clad men pose, wrestle, and jokingly try to out-flex one another in what amounts to a beauty contest of its own.

The film, narrated by "LA Plays Itself" director Fred Halstead, begins by looking at the muscle magazines and films of the late 1940s-early 1960s, then at the softcore films of the late 60s and the boundary-pushing and legal-testing which allowed these to evolve into hardcore loops and then features.
