Fiorello

The Sanremo Music Festival is the most popular Italian song contest and awards, held annually in the town of Sanremo, Imperia, Italy, and consisting of a competition amongst previously unreleased songs. The Festival was the inspiration for the Eurovision Song Contest.

Tom Ripley is a calculating young man who believes it's better to be a fake somebody than a real nobody. Opportunity knocks in the form of a wealthy U.S. shipbuilder who hires Tom to travel to Italy to bring back his playboy son, Dickie. Ripley worms his way into the idyllic lives of Dickie and his girlfriend, plunging into a daring scheme of duplicity, lies and murder.

Marco Santin and Giorgio Gherarducci - supported in the studio by Mago Forest, a great cast of comedians and many surprise guests - comment with biting irony on the most popular TV programs, the main sporting events and the last web trends.

A Late Show with a strong identity that bears the name of Alessandro Cattelan: surprising interviews, monologues, music and guests who face all the challenges, even the most unlikely, but without ever taking themselves seriously.

Between infotainment and variety, a good morning with Fiorello and Biggio. At the center are the news, the events that happened and those that will happen, commented in an ironic and pungent style but always with lightness and good humor. A condensation of moments of variety, with a high rhythm: music, songs, ballets, duets, gags with guests and playmates, a cast in constant evolution that, day after day, will always see new protagonists. Unusual fifths of the show are via Asiago 10 (in the first season) and Foro Italico (in the second season) and the expected glass, a studio with transparent walls.

The 2006-2007 season of Viva Radio 2 debuted on October 8, 2006, with a special prime-time episode airing simultaneously on Radio 2 and Rai Uno. The special guest was Lelio Luttazzi, returning to television after many years, who dueted with Fiorello in "Chiedimi Tutto." Given its considerable success, the television experiment was repeated on November 19, 2006, with special guest Mike Bongiorno, achieving ratings peaks of 36%.

From the Aristonello Fiorello, Biggio and Casciari comment on the Sanremo Festival.

The hosts' challenge, in this highly experimental format, is to condense all the hallmarks of classic variety into the short span of two minutes: music and songs with a live orchestra, dance routines, monologues and comedy sketches, duets with guests, and satire on customs and society with references to current events. There will also be a host of celebrities who have become famous throughout the various editions of the radio show, of which these television segments are an original preview. The two-minute variety shows will be visualized with a timer marking 120 seconds.

Show your stamina with Italy's most unlikely press review! Rosario Fiorello and his traveling companions Fabrizio Biggio and Mauro Casciari comment on the events of the day, both past and future, from a bar in Rome. Pay close attention to the warnings and ironic asides.
