Melodifestivalen (direct translation: The Melody Festival) is an annual music competition organised by Swedish public broadcaster Sveriges Television (SVT). The competition is a six part tour (5 heats + the final) with stops in cities across Sweden to determine the country's representative for the Eurovision Song Contest. Melodifestivalen is also known informally as "Mello", or internationally as "Melfest".

The Class is aimed at children in their younger teens and addresses issues and dilemmas that are relevant to them but that parents or other adults usually do not think are important. It's about small and big things that create recognition with topics that range from how the friendship is put to the test when two friends fall in love with the same girl to how it feels not to be seen. The Class addresses the challenges and problems that children face in everyday life and are largely taken from the reality of high school students, the one they do not share with adults.

TV presenter invites Swedish celebrities and interesting personalities to her summer island in the Stockholm Archipelago for an evening filled with food, drink, laughs and emotion. She interviews her guests about their career, life and dreams, trying to learn new things about them.

Allsång på Skansen is a Swedish tv show held at Skansen, Stockholm, every summer on Tuesdays. The audience is supposed to sing-along with musical guests to well-known Swedish songs. Sommarkrysset is a Swedish television program that is broadcast live from the Gröna Lund amusement park in Stockholm during summer. It was first shown on June 3, 2005. The program consists of live performances by famous artists in front of a live audience while viewers can call in and win a certain amount of money. To have the chance to win this money, the viewer first has to figure out a word which is derived by entering the answers to questions on a piece of graph paper with 5x5 squares like a crossword. The program is produced by Baluba Television after a TV-format created by Baluba. The Lotto draw is usually broadcast live with Ulrika Bengtsson as a presenter, although others have presented the draw at times. Over a longer period, Annika Duckmark has been a regular presenter.

In "Klassfesten" Swedish celebrities compete against each other in knowledge from their own time in primary school.
