Terra Incognita follows life on a mysterious island, inhabited by immortal beings. These beings lead a pre-civilized life forgotten by time, spending their endless days in hedonistic lethargy.

Sidsel and her friend Olav are leading a seemingly quiet and peaceful life in a little town by the beach, but under the surface things are not so quiet and peaceful after all. When Sidsel picks up a mysterious cube on the beach one day she unwittingly sets in motion an unfortunate chain of events involving a charming duck, a tiger and a rogue carnivorous houseplant that turn out to have catastrophic consequences for her and Olav’s friendship.

In a farmhouse a woman tries to lure the resident house spirit – a mischievous Nisse – with offerings of food.

Simple colorful shapes in different constellations perform small tasks in long never-ending loops. Their repetitive and random choreographies express both humor and poetry. It is an abstract representation of the state of being that all living things either endure or enjoy.
