A small town somewhere in the north. The body of a brutally murdered young girl, Anna, is found by the river. The investigation is taken up by the determined criminalist Laura Linhartová (Kristýna Ryška), and her old colleague Adam Beneš (Kryštof Hádek) is assigned to her. The main suspect is a recently convicted perpetrator who is responsible for a similar murder. Just when it seems that the search for Anna's murderer is over, new evidence appears that brings the whole case back to the beginning. The criminalists thus embark on a complicated investigation full of unexpected twists and turns. The circle of suspects in the small town expands dramatically. The tension between Laura and Adam rises, not to mention their different characters and shared past. And the question still hangs in the air: Who killed Anna Pittnerová?

What to do with life on an island threatened with rescue? Johanka is the owner of a café called Laputa, which—like the flying island of the same name from Gulliver's Travels—is her island. Will it be enough to make her feel complete and happy? Johanka explores what to do in the boundless space of adult life, at the beginning of which she finds herself. Her family is not very helpful, and the café guests each come with their own needs and selfishness—their characters are meant to be a reflection of their generation.

They break hearts but look for true love. They share everything, until they fall in love with the same man. How honest can you be with your own feelings and how to cope with close relationships, especially when it is your best friend?

Linda and Marek are faced with the decision of whether to keep the unborn child, who has a high probability of being born with Down syndrome and a vision of a "poor" life, or to abort it through medical intervention.

When nostalgia makes her rethink the sale of her family cottage, a woman cajoles her husband and loved ones into one last getaway.
