Garip Bülbül is about the life story of the great bard Neşet Ertaş. Neşet Ertaş, who signed 400 records and many cassettes throughout his life, wrote many poems under the pen name "Garip". The film tells the unknowns about both the private and career life of Neşet Ertaş, who passed away in 2012.

It tells the story of eight women who came together at the "For Women" camp to turn a new page in their lives.

Three brothers living in Balat, one of Istanbul's old neighborhoods, each struggling to make ends meet in their own way: Gürkan, who earns a living as a taxi driver; Orhan, who runs a rice shop; and Duran, who is hopelessly in love. While continuing their daily struggles like everyone else and trying to resolve their ordinary problems, the lives of these three brothers are turned upside down by a triangle of murder, mafia, and kidnapping triggered by an accident that befalls them one day.

The two begin their investigation by quarantining the prison and questioning everyone inside. As Erol and Selin meticulously investigate every detail to solve the mystery of the murders, they uncover shocking truths with each "lock" they open.
