Tensions are running high and the eyes of the world are on Mexico and President Gustavo Diaz Ordaz. Ana Maria, a student photographer and daughter of a high-ranking official, finds herself embroiled in the movement and is swept off her feet by Félix, a working-class architecture student. Alex, a real estate businessman, has no concerns in giving her wife every kind of freedom. They invite Gloria, an old friend of both, to spend the summer break in their countryside house next to the beach. Gloria doesn't come alone: she comes with young Susy, her lover.
