Autumn 1968, the Australian running record holder Ron Clarke is coming to Prague, hoping that his old friend and role model, Emil Zátopek, the most famous Czech athlete of all time, will help him overcome the biggest crisis of his career.

Four friends, Karel, Milan, Tomáš, and Vinco, lose their jobs in Ostrava’s working-class districts and, with their livelihoods gone, struggle to redefine themselves. They launch various business ventures but lack experience, leading to repeated failures. Pressure mounts on their friendships and private lives as tensions flare. Through setbacks and mutual support, they embark on a journey of self-discovery, learning resilience, solidarity, and the true meaning of identity and camaraderie in a changing world.

After losing her husband, Jarmila finds herself at a crossroads in her life, where she must decide whether to patiently "wait out" the rest of her life or rebel and throw herself into an adventure with an uncertain outcome. Despite the well-meaning advice of her adult children, she chooses the latter. This involves living in a cottage in the romantic wilderness of the Mácha region, which her husband particularly loved. In addition, he bequeathed her a retired circus horse named Buka in his will, which at first glance seems like a cruel joke, because Jarmila is afraid of horses. With the help of her neighbors, she decides to face the situation head-on and soon discovers that, although it didn't seem like it at first, it is precisely this horse that could bring happiness back into her life.

A TV fairy tale based on a legend from the Haná region. Jan, Margrave of Moravia, falls in love with a simple girl named Marína and marries her. But things start to get complicated at their lavish wedding. The evil fairy Plevelice, in the guise of a beautiful countess, does everything she can to subjugate Jan to her power. His love for Marina fades, and everything is further complicated by war. Marina, who flees the castle to escape her husband's growing anger, gives birth to a boy named Ječmínek. The more she hides with him, the louder the tales of the little heir's goodness and supernatural abilities become. When Jan meets his son, all evil spells disappear, and goodwill and love return to the land of golden fields.

In a small Czech town, mother dependent Robert, his attractive girlfriend Simona, histrionic Tomas and extremely reserved History freak Funes, all dissatisfied with their lives, are members of the same string Quartet. As they rehearse for their next concert, they will get into a circle of eccentric situations and misunderstandings.

This production of Ostrava TV Studios was inspired by actual events which occurred in the Ostrava region of Moravia during the 1920s and 1930s. A hedonistic bon vivant of a lawyer named Zajícek (played by Václav Postránecký) came up with a sophisticated finance speculation scheme which exceeded the bounds of law. When discovered it became one of the most closely-followed First Republic scandals.

When he grows up, he sets out into the world. He is not afraid of work and offers help wherever he can, but he discourages everyone with his insatiability. The story of an aging man—sick, exhausted, and twisted by life—who arrives in the borderlands shortly after the end of the war, searching for the man who denounced and destroyed his family during the war. He meets a young German woman who has been stripped of her last shred of human dignity by the revolutionary guards. She is alone, without family or children, hiding from people who come to the border region to loot and enforce their self-proclaimed order. The two grow close, but before they even have a chance to tell each other their names, everything tragically...

Pavel Medek is leaving a psychiatric hospital. His world consists of the musicians from the band he used to perform with, managers of recording studios and concert agencies, and the atmosphere of clubs and pubs. His marriage is falling apart, his colleagues and friends are disappearing. He decides to move to the countryside and start over. Two police detectives, one a rookie and the other an experienced veteran, are far from clean. They are pursuing two criminals who are robbing small post offices and bank branches. During the raid and shootout, the rookie shoots one of the robbers. This changes his whole life. He is investigated by the Ministry of the Interior, leaves the police force, struggles to find work, his wife leaves him, and he starts drinking. Even his experienced colleague turns his back on him. Meanwhile, the robber who survived the shootout is planning a "big heist" with a recently released prisoner – an attack on a money transport. But this gang has no idea that they are being watched by the older of the two police officers...

After the occupation of Czechoslovakia by Warsaw Pact troops, everyone is packing their bags to leave the country. Martin Ivánek, who has just been dismissed from his position as head physician, has a valid passport and an exit visa to the United Kingdom. He has made up his mind. But! He has a complicated medical case on his hands, which turns into a personal commitment.

After another failed relationship Hedvika takes her three-month-old daughter Adélka and her dog to stay with her mother and her mum’s boyfriend. Hedvika doesn’t get on all that well with her mother, nor are her feelings towards Adélka as maternal as they could be. One day she finds some diaries that her late father left behind… This small-scale psychological drama by debutant Josef Tuka is shored up by its realistic characters, an understated performance from Jana Plodková, and perceptive, discreet lensing.

In an effort to secure his new family, an insurance agent undertakes an effective raid on clients, unaware that elsewhere, a scam is being hatched against him, and apparently not just one. The speed with which problems begin to pile up relentlessly rises vertiginously, and the fall becomes uncontrollable.
