A true story where the magical and the supernatural come together to make everything happen.

A 1972 television adaptation of Los Vendidos, a one-act play by Chicano playwright Luis Valdez, a founding member of El Teatro Campesino. The play examines and dramatizes stereotypes of Mexican Americans in California and how they are treated by local, state, and federal governments.

The film follows the rise to fame of venezuelan singer Felipe Pirela. From the beginnings when he worked alongside Billo Frometa and his band Billo's Caracas Boys to the days of his death at the hands of a drug dealer.

A thesis on the history, the successes and failures of Venezuelan and Latin American cinema as a whole; demonstrating how little interaction there is between Ibero-American cinema
