Dan Pringle

A Belfast woman becomes increasingly isolated after her all-consuming eco-anxiety leads to altercations with both the local community and her unsympathetic family.

After his father is killed in an altercation with drunken thugs, Salah's world is plunged into darkness. Forced into running the family kebab shop alone, Salah struggles to manage the increasingly rowdy night life and when a fight with an angry customer goes fatally wrong, he finds himself with a dead body on his hands. With no faith in the authorities Salah disposes of the body in the one place he knows best… the kebabs.

After a heart transplant, Heather returns to her quiet life in rural Northern Ireland. But something lingers — a melody she cannot place and words from a language and community that have always felt foreign to her. As she follows their quiet pull, she begins to sense the trace of another life and a connection that reaches across a divided past.

EMULSION tells the story of a dejected salesman who is inadvertently drawn into a dangerous blackmail scheme that forces him to fight for control a life he never thought was worth living. Painting a murky film noir world where no one is exactly as they appear, Emulsion follows Dane Allen as he evolves from an utterly forgettable cog into a potent activist who brings the powers that be to their knees. It is a story of discovery, manipulation and the never-ending struggle between complacency and self-actualization.

A hot-headed influencer finds himself trapped six feet underground after an internet challenge goes dramatically wrong.
