Three generations of women live on a small island off the coast of Washington state with their men with whom they have no end of problems.

Sarah Barlow and Linda Wells are two mothers who give birth on the same day in the same hospital. Eighteen months later, a DNA test proves the infants were switched at birth by the hospital.

Morris has existed quietly and contentedly in a mental institution for sometime now & is distressed to find that - but for an error in paperwork - he should have been released some time ago. He would much rather stay. When his therapist is forced to ok the release, she does so knowing that his writing fantasies have disturbed her of late. However, she cannot prove Morris to be dangerous and so he is released.

In this made-for-tv movie, misfits Danny Stauffer and Chips (a chicken-chasing German shepherd) are teamed up in the Army's "Dogs for Defense" program during WWII.

At an open house for a gorgeous waterfront home, lies are uncovered, truth is revealed, and plenty of foul play occurs.
