Wai Siu Bo is the son of a prostitute who works in a brothel in Yangzhou. After joining the Heaven and Earth society, he heads to the Capital and gets enrolled into the service of the Grand Eunuchs. The Criminal Investigator is a 1995 Hong Kong police procedural television drama. Produced by Jonathan Chik and edited by Chow Yuk-ming, the drama is a TVB production. The story follows a team of investigators from the Organized Crime and Triad Bureau unit of the Royal Hong Kong Police Force.

The Criminal Investigator II is a 1996 Hong Kong police procedural television drama.
