True to her word, Golfo rejects a nobleman who wishes to marry her, but Tassos breaks his oath and agrees to wed a rich young woman instead. However, Lambros escapes from prison and returns to the village, revealing the truth. Kitsos gets the punishment he deserves, as he is accidentally killed by his own brother.
