The story centers on Bima, a middle-class family head who initially had sincere intentions to improve his household’s financial situation to make his wife, Dewi, happy. However, his curiosity led him to try a shortcut through online gambling. Starting with small, seemingly tempting wins, Bima instead finds himself trapped in a vicious cycle of high-interest online loans and harassment from debt collectors. This emotional strain triggers intense conflict and shatters the family’s previously stable harmony. Bima must face the bitter reality that his fleeting “wins” in online gambling ultimately lead to total defeat and financial ruin.

Kiki's successful life changed drastically after the death of her husband, Ronald. She faced various problems: financial difficulties, job loss, and the threat of losing her daughter. She did not give up. Together with her best friend Rahma, she tried to find happiness in her life again.

Ummi Aminah, a 68 years old ustadzah (the term originally means teacher but in Indonesian urban contexts it often translates to Islamic preacher), has loyal congregation. She has seven children. From her first failed marriage, she has two children: Umar whose wife is Risma. Risma is a typical daughter-in-law, cynical and is not in a good relationship with Ummi’s family. Risma is always worried that Umar’s family will take advantage of their wealth. This often drives Umar over his edge so that he threateans to divorce Risma. Aisyah, the second daughter, is a housewife whose husband is Hasan, a middle level civil servant, with two little children.

Two teenagers face demands from their families that do not care about what they want. They only have each other to encourage and pursue their dreams.

Edo and Ipah study in the same art college. Both are attracted to each other and the relationship is pure yet Ipah’s father does not approve. One day, Edo’s father who works in the railway service dies in an accident. Both Edo and Ipah must condemn with the decision that tested their relationships.

But as time goes by, Sari feels uncomfortable with the new atmosphere and finally returns to her aunt’s home.

During a morning cycling routine, Karina suffers an unfortunate accident. Swerving to avoid a collision, she crashes her bike and unknowingly tears her hymen—just as she is about to get married. The death of Mrs. Maengkom causes some change in her family. Willy Maengkom, the father of four children, has to learn to manage the household. He becomes extremely busy because his oldest daughter, Elsa, has to be hospitalized after the death of her mother, who slipped on a bathroom brush that Elsa left. After she recovers, Elsa feels the responsibility to replace her mother. Taking care of her father and her three siblings changes her. She is not the lively and active teen in church and school anymore, and starts behaving like a housewife.

Two high school students, Satria and Rani, have tasted the forbidden fruit of sex. But Rani’s father, a rich man, who is authoritarian and very proud; is against Satria, who is merely the son of a poor widow. He regretfully has to give permission for his only daughter, Rani, to marry Satria who has impregnated her. He allows this without any celebration and on condition that they will not be sharing a house, and that they will divorce after the baby is born. Everything changes when Rani gives birth to a pair of twins. Rani and Satria can be reunited.

A love story between Galih and Marlina, who happens to look very much like Ratna, Galih’s former lover. However, as Galih’s relationship with Marlina begins to grow, he unexpectedly meets Ratna again, which creates distance between him and the jealous Marlina.

Galih and Ratna are two high school students who excel at everything they do; they are popular and receive good grades. Soon they begin falling in love. Despite Ratna's father objecting to their relationship, they continue to meet in secret. When Ratna's father finds out, he attempts to arrange for her to marry someone else.

Romi and Juli, junior high school friends, are in love with each other. But their parents; Sabar and Komar, are business rivals, and creates obstacles for them. Romi and Juli agree to run away from home and they get lost in a cave. Romi falls ill so Juli has to urgently find medicine. Meanwhile, their parents keep looking for them and finally make peace with each other after their children are found.
