Martín Farina

Fernando is on vacation with his friends at a country house in Ezeiza. They relax by the pool, drink, smoke, and reveal their deepest secrets while displaying a playful freedom, as if they were children at summer camp.

Old friends, family, reunions, business, scams, films... These characters carry out the art of arguing with the unobjectionable feeling of being right. 60 minutes and 5 chapters in which the protagonists give their all in order to win their small epic battles.

On the verge of achieving his dream career, Tomás allows his older brother Martin Farina an inside look at his life as a professional football player. Martin, never able to fulfill his own dream of playing football, steps into the world of Tomás and his teammates through the lens of his camera.

It's three o'clock in the afternoon of an August Friday in the province of Corrientes. A few weeks before embarking on their graduation trip, a group of students in the last year of high school meets after school to decide who will receive the free trip to go to Bariloche.

The carnival is coming soon. We witness the ritual of “cleaning the meat” performed by the “gauchos” who unfold their knives. The bucolic landscape mixes with the city streets. Slowly, everything fills with colour, feathers and semi-naked men. Face masks begin to cover the faces and alcohol disinhibit the bodies.

“Willy” Villalobos was a Montonero militant (left-wing guerrilla) who, after being imprisoned in 1975, went into exile in Europe in 1979. Upon his return to a democratic Argentina, he experienced a loss that left him directionless and forced him to move to a town in northern Uruguay. It will become a dreamlike space where ghosts reveal themselves among the dunes that devour the houses beneath the lighthouse at night.

Nicolás Barsoff, a young Argentine actor of Austrian and Russian descent, rescues a box of film reels just as his father was about to throw it away. He hopes the box will be the key to unlocking a tendency toward darkness that haunts him as part of an inevitable inheritance he tries to combat with natural medicines. Raúl Perrone does not usually allow people to register his work. It represents an act of intimacy. However, Martín earns his trust and is allowed to take part in the shooting.
