His creditor wants the money back and starts to threaten Veronica. Her mother will not protect her since she is always drunk. Thus, the young girl must leave home and hide far away. On her journey she meets many characters. Some of them are comic, others are rather tragicomic. Together with a stroke of luck, it is precisely these character traits that help him become a respected and wealthy young man and a loving husband. Prince Thomas longed to prove to himself and his royal parents that he was truly an adult. And on the day he came of age, his father gave him a unique opportunity—an opportunity called Blouzov. Kvido and Jáchym are also competing for the princess's hand. In the end, Vašek wins over both competitors with the help of his idea. However, thanks to the magic fly, he realizes that even a princess may not be true happiness, so he returns to the simple girl Vendulka.
