Many people who have attended a Rich Mullins concert can tell you that the most impactful parts are his "stories" that he tells between his songs. This collection of 12 of those stories was recorded in February of 1993, and released on the "Here in America" Bonus DVD.

The "Pursuit of a Legacy" video was released soon after the album, A Liturgy, A Legacy, and A Ragamuffin Band, and contains five selections from the album. The spoken monologues between the music videos are typical of the "Rich-isms" he often tells at concerts and are all presented in informal settings as Rich simply chats and speaks his mind while the film rolls.
