A group of seven young friends travel to a cabin in the dark woods of Finland for the weekend, where they have the misfortune of encountering a creature that's half-human, half-rabbit. In addition to satisfying its killer instinct, the ferocious creature also needs to satiate another pressing appetite.

Society has collapsed and individual survivors are fighting for their existence against viruses, acid rains and swarms of cannibals. Grave diggers Lars and Donald spend their nights in their base, safe from the acid rain, and during the day, when the rains stop, they dispose of the bodies of the infected. A menacing cannibal mob forces the survivors to ally with other survivors and prepare for the battle ahead.

Socially awkward 40-year-old Johannes tries to reach his dying father before it's too late. The journey from the city of Tampere to Kajaani can be surprisingly long if you don't go via Jämsä.
