Alberto and Jorge are employees of a pharmacy. One day, by mistake, they give a client a bottle of poison in exchange for a medication that she had to start ingesting 48 hours later. Realizing this, they decide to go out and look for her with the only data they have: her first name, her striking clothing, and that she was driving an imported motorcycle. So they launch into a crazy race against time touring the fashionable places of the Buenos Aires night, helped by a woman who claims to know the mysterious girl on the motorcycle.

Alberto and Jorge are fulfilling their obligations as conscripted soldiers who have violated the law of mandatory military service. They have committed so many blunders that everyone from the corporal to the lieutenant colonel in charge of services is confessing to the chaplain, telling him that because of this pair of useless men, the entire company has been punished. The higher-ups order the commanding officer to assemble the men he deems capable of withstanding the high risks of a second mission to be carried out deep in the jungle. The commanding officer doesn't hesitate for a moment to include Jorge and Alberto in this high-risk group, without realizing that they themselves are the real risk. The final film in the conscript saga.

Biopic of Ceferino Namuncurá (1886-1905), son of a Mapuche cacique and a white woman, and the first Indian of South America to be beatified. The film starts out as a war movie, showing his father Manuel battling the Spanish and taking a white woman as his captive bride. But little of interest happens after Ceferino is born. His beatification relies partly on his "miraculous" survival after falling in a stream as a baby, but the film does not present this with any great drama, and plods through the rest of the boy's life with similar tepor. Ceferino does well in school, attracts the interest of a priest, attends a Catholic school in Buenos Aires, and studies for the priesthood in Italy, where he dies of tuberculosis after a few unconvincing coughs.
