In this drama set on Shikina Island, a far-flung island of the Japanese archipelago located more than six hours from the Japanese main islands, the young physician Kensuke Goto arrives at the island and has to deal with the island's inhabitants, not eager to accept him, at a clinic lacking sufficient medical equipment. Here's a human drama showing how Dr. Coto values the dignity of human life while unflinchingly facing disease with a serious attitude.

Fukuyama plays the extremely unique protagonist Kamio Takeshi, who has outstanding magic that has made him famous in Las Vegas and a skillful ability to observe people, but is also strict with money and lies as easily as he breathes. Furthermore, Kamio Mayo, the niece of Kamio Takeshi played by Fukuyama, who teams up with Takeshi after her father is killed by someone and works hard to solve the murder case, will be played by top actress Arimura Kasumi, who has brilliantly played a variety of roles from love stories to comedies and period dramas, and whose solid acting skills have captivated people!

Amagi Goe, based on Seicho Matsumoto's novel, has created numerous stars through its visualizations. Erika Ikuta will take on the difficult role of the main character in this adaptation.

Nobuhiro Yamashita shoots the adaption of the City Lights manga by Hiroyuki Ohashi with three members of the Nogizaka46 idol pop band. The story is told on three levels: Documentary-style on-set where we see the film being made and the idols struggling with their roles, the resulting movie which revolves around three girls in a psychic research club discovering a classmate with super powers who turns out to be an alien and a stage adaptation of the film with the same characters.

Shinobu Otake takes on her first role as an adult male in *King Lear*! This much-talked-about production brings together a stellar cast including Rie Miyazawa, Ryo Narita, Erika Ikuta, Oji Suzuka, Eiji Yokota, Tamae Ando, Masanobu Katsumura, Hajime Yamazaki and others. King Lear (Shinobu Otake), King of Britain, decides to divide his kingdom among his three daughters upon abdicating due to old age. His eldest daughter, Goneril (Rie Miyazawa), and his second daughter, Regan (Tamae Ando), skilfully flatter their father to please him, but his youngest daughter, Cordelia (Erika Ikuta), can only speak her mind honestly. Enraged, Lear disinherits her, and the Earl of Kent (Eiji Yokota), who tries to defend her, is also banished. Cordelia, though disinherited, becomes Queen of France, whilst Kent disguises himself to conceal his identity and returns to serve King Lear.

2015 musical adaptation of Osamu Tezuka's manga of the same title, in conmemoration of the 60th anniversary of the Nakayoshi Magazine, in which it was originaly published. Princess Knight revolves around Princess Sapphire, who was born with both the soul of a boy and a girl and raised as a boy so that she can inherit her kingdom's throne.

One day, a man’s body is discovered within the grounds of a shrine, and in his pocket is a scrap of paper resembling a building blueprint. Hearing of the case, Heiji quickly begins his investigation. His colleague, the okappiki Manpachi, hastily assumes it was a simple robbery, but Heiji senses something is not right. According to Sasano Shinzaburo, the chief yoriki of the Minami Magistrate’s Office, there are suspicions of a major conspiracy behind the scenes, and the authorities are taking the matter seriously. Trusting Heiji’s sharp insight, Sasano asks for his cooperation in solving the case. Around the same time, a traveling troupe that has been the talk of the town arrives in Edo. Their star performer, Tsubame, captivates audiences with her singing and stage presence. Heiji, Hachigoro, and Oshizu, who is close to Heiji, go to see the show and are enthralled.
