The adventures of three friends from East Germany on the Black Sea.

Karla Geisler is a woman with her heart in the right place and a very quick mouth - the tenant on the first floor is practically the good soul of the entire building community. Karla is also the aunt of a 32-year-old single man called Karl, who is not lacking in imagination. Every Wednesday, he invites himself over to Auntie's for coffee and cake so that he can do some geological studies in peace.

The doctor has prescribed Herbert plenty of exercise in the fresh air. Hunting is his new hobby. The pride of his wife Margot has a sudden end when it comes out that leisure activity is anything but hunting passion.

GDR tourism expert Obermüller wants to instruct his deputy Hurtig in the management of the newly opened Schneemannbaude (ski lodge). However, he makes an embarrassing mistake beforehand. As a result, the entire staff, from the cook to the chambermaid, take a few days off over the turn of the year, while the first guests are already arriving. They have to roll up their sleeves and lend a hand, whether making the beds, working at reception or in the boiler room. Despite the improvisational skills of the Obermüller/Hurtig team, there are a few minor compromises when it comes to service...

The oceans seem to be the Nehls' second home. But there is one exception that Grandpa Nehl, alias Martin XI, captain of a training sailing ship, is not at all happy with. His son Martin XII is the first of the family to work ashore. A scandal, really, but Grandpa Nehl doesn't give up. He hopes that his grandson Martin XIII will carry on the maritime tradition. But behind his grandfather's back, he also goes his own way. And so a huge row is brewing, if it weren't for twin sister Martina.

The "Astoria", an English luxury liner, collides with a freighter shortly before the end of its voyage and threatens to sink. Captain Mitchell, successful and envied, sets in motion an expensive rescue operation. He manages to avert a catastrophe and bring the passengers and the ship to safety. But the shipowner considers the operation excessive, calls Mitchell a coward and fires him. His career seems to be over. When his friends and his fiancée also make fun of him, he devises a cunning plan of revenge.

Small town policeman Holms suffers from a rather unusual problem: Because of the low crime rate, there is simply not enough to do for him. Deadly bored, he sinks into the depths of depression and requests the help of a psychiatrist. But his imagination is far more effective: In his dreams, he chases gangsters in London. Finally, some small-time crooks find a way to help "their" policeman out of his emotional misery: They steal a memorial from the market square and thus help Holms to a spectacular case.

In Frankfurt am Main, a red sports car crashes into a wall and bursts into flames along with the driver. Erika Bongert, the owner, was not in the car and is not questioned by the police. Her boyfriend is CIA agent Jack Treets, who is able to keep her out of everything. He is soon in trouble himself, as Erika puts him under pressure ... Another car races across a road, this time on the transit highway to West Berlin. Erika Bongert dies as a result. The Ministry for State Security soon realizes that the American secret service is involved.

The Paris-Munich overnight express becomes the scene of an unusual crime. Private detective Frank Winter is assigned a "case" of unknown proportions! He has 20 minutes to reach the train in Strasbourg as ordered and make contact with a stranger in the S 98 sleeping car. The task is to protect the French scientist Prof. Charles Leduc, an expert in the field of cybernetics...

Germany 1922 during the Weimar Republic: Foreign Minister Walther Rathenau signs the Treaty of Rapallo between Germany and the Soviet Union. German national, conservative forces then speak of betrayal and anti-Semitic tones become loud. Plans for murder Rathenaus are forged in the vicinity of the Freikorps. The young engineer Horst Bergmann learns about the preparations of the assassination attempt and tries to warn Rathenau.

The majority of the show is comprised of music performances, which are visually altered or transformed. Cabaret-style written contributions and one acts round out the program. Before each performance, the artists involved are seen in an everyday situation in their life.

Master baker Oskar Lorenz is plagued by a number of worries, because almost every day one of his employees is affected by a different "ailment", making it difficult for the bakery to meet the plan. After all, Lorenz and his team have to ensure that fresh bread rolls and, above all, Berlin country bread can be sold to customers on time every day. And Oskar alone cannot fill all the gaps in the staff. To remedy this situation, Oskar's sister Ilse has come up with something for her brother: a "disease" that is difficult to diagnose. He is now confined to his bed and can no longer fulfill his duties. Ziegler, his deputy, is deeply impressed by the pitiful sight that his otherwise strong master now presents. This seems to be the first ray of hope for Ilse to cure Oskar's coworker and her brother of their "ailments" at the same time.

Rosemarie, Peter's wife Regina's best friend, wants to dissuade the straw widower from the path of virtue with all kinds of tricks and erotic finesse. This leads to all kinds of confusion and mix-ups, to which Uncle Ewald, whose motto is "If you have worries, you need a liqueur", and his daughter Gisela, the "model", as well as Peter's neighbor, the amateur nude photographer Konrad Förster, intentionally and unintentionally contribute. So it will be interesting to see whether the "hero" of the play, Peter Schönfeld, can still say at the end: "Yes, that's the kind of man I am!".
