Marta decides to take her daughters, Agáta and Mína, leave her toxic husband, and start over. She finds refuge in the house of her father, an eccentric loner who has spent his entire life preparing for the end of the world. Their time together reveals long-suppressed family conflicts, many of them triggered by the husband. When Milan accuses Marta of kidnapping the children, the father drives him away, strengthening the bond with his daughter.

An eighteen-year-old delinquent was recently released from a juvenile detention center. He returns to his parent's old home with a clean criminal record and a new identity. However, local villagers sense an injustice in this lack of punishment; they remember what happened there just a few years earlier. Also an ambitious filmmaker has decided to follow and document this delinquent's return to a 'normal' life. With the backdrop of contemporary society, where "everything is meaningless and nothing is real", this story of maturity and guilt unfolds.

A Gogolian grotesque with elements of Italian neorealism underscored by Janáček's four-part harmonies. An adaptation of the sixth book in Terry Pratchett's Discworld fantasy series, performed by Divadlo v Dlouhé. On Discworld, which is flat and travels through space on the back of a giant turtle, unimaginable things began to happen when three witches—Granny Weatherwax, Nanny Ogg, and Magrat Garlick—became involved in royal politics. They did not like the cruel rule of Lord Felmet, who ascended the throne after murdering King Verence, who thus became a ghost.

The heavenly student Angelo Žáček doesn't really get the theory. Would he rather prove his abilities in practice? Reforming the sinner Vinck, whom all of heaven has given up on, is child's play for him, and the guardian angel diploma will be in the bag. An evil witch is trying to steal a magic purse possessed by the local ruler. Thanks to Princess Blanka's love, Prince Petr wins out over the witch.

On 25 April 1605, the knight Milota was killed by the royal armourers while escaping from the castle of Temice. However, the robbed treasures were not found in his possession. Almost 400 years later, Jindra, Tomas and eighteen-year-old Alena spend their holidays at the castle with their grandfather, the castellan. The castle needs repairs, but there is no money for them. Tomas and Jindra decide to find Milot's treasure, which could help the castle. The visitors are guided by Alena and two temporary workers, Roman and Petr. Among the tourists, Professor Horák, who shows a suspicious interest in the castle's collections, attracts the boys' attention...

Jazz musician and trumpeter Beno is originally Slovak, but has been living in Prague for a long time. As a true bohemian, he does not recognize any limitations in his personal or artistic life. He is devoted to jazz with body and soul and despises any form of pop music. That is why he rejects the lucrative offers of his girlfriend, the successful singer Gábina. He also successfully faces the pressure of his much younger girlfriend-to-be and her defiant mother. Beno often has to pay for his tricks, but he accepts this with open eyes. Beno is ably supported by his friend, saxophonist Emil, known as Rampouch.

The Slippers of Happiness is another film made by the Slovak Film Production in co-production with West German companies based on classic world fairy tales. After Slovak folk tales [The Greatest Peck in the World, Salt Over Gold] and the works of German fairy tale writers Wilhelm Hauff [The False Prince] and the Brothers Grimm [The Land of the Thrush's Beard, Perinbaba], screenwriter Alex Koenigsmark and director Juraj Herz were inspired by the famous fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen. It tells the story of slippers that the Fairy of Fortune enchanted so that they would fulfill every human wish and thus bring people happiness. The filmmakers humorously transferred the plot from Copenhagen to old Prague.
