Ami, haunted by recurring apparitions, embarks on a journey from Singapore to Japan in search of her missing mother. Amidst the transforming landscapes, Ami's dreams, hauntings and lost mother unveil their true form.

Saki, a high school girl who always skips classes, works part-time as a life adviser.

Four experimental short movies, based on the following Poe tales and poems, are told: “Alone”, “Song”, “The Black Cat”, “William Wilson” and “Ligeia” (which is combined with another Poe tale, “Morella”). Each sequence is introduced by the sensual and international PornStar Roberta Gemma, who also appears (as a 3D generated character) in the last segment.

Poetry of Eerie features 13 Poe-inspired short segments directed by a cadre of international filmmakers, filmed under tight constraints, offering abstract, atmospheric takes on the macabre.
