David Ottenhouse

A photographer remembers that special summer that he spent with his somewhat older cousin, the feelings that were awakened, and the unexpected turn of events behind his "best" photo.

Two young men have a brief sexual encounter in a New York City subway that sets off feelings of anxiety and desperation.

Different aspects of homosexual romance are explored in this compendium of ten short vignettes encompassing a broad look at AIDS and range for the tale of a lesbian teen trying to come out to her parents, to a gay man who shocks his lover by claiming to be pregnant, to another man's reminiscence of a brief affair with an HIV-positive man.

Boys Life 5 is the fifth installment of the Boys Life series, which collects LGBT-related short films. Distributed by Strand Releasing. This gay anthology of short films about unrequited love should strike a universal chord with audiences of all persuasions. 4 Shorts: Dare (2005); Fishbelly White (1998); Late Summer (2001); Time Off (1990).
