Ostensibly a romantic comedy about mistaken identity, this film stars Kitty Ting Hao in two roles, the first as poor flower girl Fangfang and rich relation of a family in Hong Kong, who arrived in Hong Kong to see if she can feel better with the warmer climate. She meets Xihong, played by Kelly Lai Chen, who is the son in the family in Hong Kong. He is, of course, smitten with her, but when the secret is out, will he still feel the same?

Back in 1959, air hostess was considered one of the most glamorous and privileged occupations for young girls with a dream. This first colour production of MP & GI details the ins and outs of the profession and takes the three lead actresses, Ge Lan (Grace Chang), Julia Ye Feng and Dolly Su Feng through a series of tough training. After their graduation, the film then brings them, and the audience, to exotic places like Bangkok, Singapore and Taiwan.

Tao Zutai, a bank employee, has five children. Tao's wife is addicted to gambling and spends too much and the eldest daughter Guiru is greedy for vanity. Tao is overjoyed when he is notified that he will be promoted to deputy manager.

FAIRY, GHOST, VIXEN (1965) consists of three fanciful tales that may be loosely classified as ghost stories, but they're presented and designed more along the lines of traditional fairy tales. They're beautifully staged and photographed and have a timeless quality about them with a moral at the end of each.

Woo Ting-ting (Julie Yeh Feng) is a smart, tall, introverted and snobby young girl who embodies the idea of the unattainable beauty. On the other end of the spectrum, Ting's younger sister Bin (Jeanette Lin Tsui) is an outgoing, fun and bright girl-next-door type who exudes youthful energy. Romantic melodrama set in contemporary Hong Kong, Japan and Laos. Hiroshi Tanaka (Takarada) is a Japanese journalist on assignment in Hong Kong who meets and falls in love with Wu Li Hung (Ming). He proposes to Wu Li but she rejects him because of her distaste for mixed marriages (her mother was Japanese but deserted her family and returned to Japan during WWII). Tanaka locates Wu Li’s mother and unsuccessfully tries to reunite them, but eventually Wu Li accepts his proposal. A joyous Tanaka flies off to Laos to finish an assignment but on the eve of his wedding he is killed there.

Devotion, should be grim enough a lesson for my teenager in love. Little Kitty Ting Hao suffers due to social evils that ruthlessly rob her of the inalienable right to marry Chang Yang, the man she loves. Her incidental misbehaviour with Chang, which leads to the birth of a fatherless baby, does the final nailing of her coffin. Fortunately their daughter is intelligent and strong enough to be the master of circumstances and fights for her own love.

Angel is a pretty young girl who debates in a furious manner at a Women's Day Meeting against the unequal law of the Ching Dynasty which permits Chinese males to have concubines. This leads to a series of complications that affects those close to her including her younger sister.

Nurse Leng Shuxian is forced by family circumstances to marry Long Yusheng (King Hu), a grossly disfigured Quasimodo with a heart of gold. Shuxian tries but is unable to accept his deformity and they remain a couple in name only. With the appearance of Yusheng's cousin, she has to make a choice between personal happiness and family duty. From the start, Loh's character and drove the action, evoking a great intensity of emotions along the way: suffering, resignation and loneliness. Loh was lauded as the "Queen of Tragedy" after her heart-wrenching portrayal in this film. Winner of two Golden Harvest Awards – for best screenplay and best black-and-white cinematography – at the 8th Asian Film Festival in 1961.

Gu Lingxiu's dream of becoming an actress is opposed by her grandmother. Her father Zhongqi remains ambivalent. Years ago, Zhongqi was in love with a Peking opera diva Hua Yanhong, but the lovers were separated by the matriarch. Regretful of the mistake, the matriarch discards her prejudice and allows Lingxiu to pursue her career. She also urges Zhongqi to look for Hua.
