The common theme of the short story film is the famous duels between two important historical figures: Pushkin and Casanova. Pushkin's tragic duel, which ended his life prematurely, is portrayed in connection with the creation of his short story "The Dirty Shot", while Casanova's story is conceived in a rather ironic and humorous way. The point is that the famous seducer never actually seduced, on the contrary, all his life he was in a constant battle with female seductions.

From time to time, we have produced an admirable film about the virtues of the domestic army, which raised the right men in ideal conditions - in this case, we meet the enthusiastic drill sergeants in green, who selflessly rehearse a demanding Spartakiad composition... So, two aspects important to the regime have merged into one. But even this did not change the incredulous, spasmodically optimistic yawn that perhaps even those who had set all this up could not believe. The film uses documentary footage of the soldiers' Spartakiada performance in 1980.

In the Czech film comedy from 1988, you can see for yourself that the war was not easy, but otherwise it was great fun. Sergeant Kouba serving with the paratroopers has a soft spot for women. His superior does not like him. However, during a military exercise on the way to the barracks, Kouba shows his true character when he saves the life of a little boy, convicts a thief and finds a lifelong partner in the commander's sister.

The romantic fairy tale tells the story of a royal family haunted by the curse of the cruel Arx, the lord of ruin. Wild Swine is actually an ironic name for the great search operation of Prague's criminologists, who in a tangle of criminal activity of various kinds were digging around like wild swine before they managed to solve a complicated case. The story takes place in a variety of social spheres, from the Roma people to the world of Prague prostitutes and bakshellers to prominent people.

When little Jirka Novák and his classmate Zdeněk's family take part in a merry Santa Claus journey through the city, he has no idea how important a change in his life this evening will bring. The story of a ten-year-old boy who unexpectedly discovers his grandfather, with whom his parents had separated forever years ago, sensitively tells of the loneliness from which little Jirka finds a way out and manages to bring his grandfather back to the family.

A handsome young shepherd stumbles across a magical golden fern in the forest. A stunning, enigmatic forest fairy named Lesanka is sent to retrieve it but instead falls hopelessly in love with him. When he’s forced to join the army and heads off to war, she sews a seed from the fern into his shirt to protect him. While he’s away, though, he falls for the icily beautiful daughter of the commanding general who demands he perform a series of Herculean tasks to prove his devotion to her.

This comedy starring Miroslav Donutil tells the story of an American of Czech origin who returns to his homeland in the 1990s. At his parents' request, he is supposed to take over the family hotel in Prague and find a Czech bride. However, he has no idea what he will have to endure in the atmosphere of the 1990s, what condition he will find the property in, or what tragicomic situations he will have to go through before someone deprives him of his property. But in the end, he finds a girl who, unbeknownst to her, comes from the same background as him.

Centurion Kubát, of Czech origin, is staying in the camp of the Habsburg army, which is suppressing the Great French Revolution in France. He is staying in a house where a girl named Francoise lives. The eager Lieutenant Hauser reports to the centurion that he has caught two Habsburg soldiers with a French prisoner. Hauser suspects that the centurion's servant Tomáš is involved in the matter. He must severely punish Tomáš for his absence on the critical evening, but promises to pay him out of the army. He learns that he will receive a medal, invites the officers to dinner, and there announces to the colonel that he wants to request discharge from the army...

With psychological precision, the author also explores Heumann's family background and his father's despotism, of which the younger of the two sons becomes a victim. Wartime events from a child's perspective were a popular theme during the previous regime - here it is a twelve-year-old village boy who experiences dangerous situations with retreating Nazi troops in picturesque South Bohemia... Any attempt to achieve a more believable depiction is destroyed by the staging's grandeur, and in the end the result is an awkward piece, suitable at most for celebrating the relevant national holidays. A longer copy with a tragic ending is stored in the NFA. Milda is shot unnoticed by an SS major.

Two young, inexperienced students, dissatisfied with the demands of their teachers and the mentoring of their parents, try to cross illegally into the country - but because they are headed for friendly Poland, nothing happens to them. The story is set in the early 1960s and depicts the heyday of café bands.
