In a training flight, the Il-28 plane crashes. Shooter-radio operator Sorokin without an order leaves the plane, lands first and writes a denunciation to the pilot Yegorov. Spring, 1943. A military train is heading from a city, just liberated from the fascists. A special carriage with divisional printing-works is hitched to the train.
