Cheated on, mistreated and stepped on, the women are holding their breath, waiting for the elusive "good man" to break a string of less-than-stellar lovers. Friends and confidants Vannah, Bernie, Glo and Robin talk it all out, determined to find a better way to breathe.

Meet Colin Vesti, an aspiring writer working as a book publisher's gopher. Colin's life is jolted when his best friend Nick, and his dad/roommate arrange for a not-so-romantic dinner for four with Katie Evans, the gorgeous artist who has just moved in down the hall. Scheming tailors, a pompous art world celebrity, and a marriage-inclined Mr. Wrong populate this romantic comedy about young love in Manhattan.

Monica is looking for a fresh start as she tries to land a gig as the host of an afternoon talk show. Then she hires Simone to be her personal assistant, and the pair become close friends. But underneath her sweet exterior, Simone harbors a dark secret, and plans to take over Monica's life for good.

On the eve of the 1913 inaugural Women's Suffrage parade, the formidable activist Mary Church Terrell, along with two leaders of historic African-American Sororities, Alpha Kappa Alpha and Delta Sigma Theta, confront and challenge parade organizer Alice Paul, regarding the racist, exclusionary practices of the white suffragette movement, for Black suffragettes to participate in the parade.

It follows Kendra who finds herself in a failing marriage and must deal with her life decisions. When Ben comes back into her life, she is backed into a crisis point and must dig deep to find the strength to take control of her life.

Three years after narrowly escaping the murderous clutches of her half-sister Simone, Monica is ready for a fresh start in Seattle as the host of the city’s #1 primetime investigative television program. With her best friend Bebe by her side and a new love interest, things are looking up for Monica. Secretly nursed back to health and suffering from amnesia, Simone is building a new life when she comes across Monica on TV and her memories come rushing back, leading to a fateful reunion between the sisters.
