The bohemian filmmaker and composer Manfred is plagued by an event in the past. At the age of sixteen, his father died. When Manfred was coming from Karlsruhe with his father's grave urn, to spread ashes over the ocean, the tram collided.

A hardboiled story that takes place in a far future when most things are over. What’s left is greed, cruelty, sexuality, fire and a tad of poetry.

Crosses freely and unaltered through Lars Norén's "Fursteslickaren" and "Mantegna Portfolio" and, in addition, serving Gregorian songs decked with various perversions and erotic dislocations, make "Sakrament" a unique creation. Set in the small community ancient pride, Hotel Esplanad. A hotel in Etelhem in the middle of Gotland, which has not been in use since the 30th century. Inside, among dust and dead flies, time has stood still. Now, the eroded environments are taken and brought to life by colourful characters. The abandoned village street fills with people and life. The railways put into use, the hotel welcomes new guests, the bar serves cold beer and the village motorcycle gang stops outside the entrance again. Just like it used to be.
