Two sisters raised on a charter resort in Gran Canaria. After 27 years, they reluctantly return to their childhood island to deal with their parents death, and end up with a half-finished esoteric retreat center in the Canary Islands.

The troubled artist Gritt is struggling for relevance and belonging in an unwelcoming society, but then she undergoes a radicalization process in the name of art.

Psykodramaterapauten Solveig comes to the secluded island "Nidøy" for trying out their methods on the island's amateur theater company. A seemingly simple task is shaping up to be a trip to the 'self' - and the beginning of a surreal, metaphysical and very Jungian trills fable.

The unemployed performance artist Gritt struggles to make sense, as she moves below the successful surface of Oslo.
