First Tuesday or This World is a monthly television documentary strand, shown in the United Kingdom on the ITV network and was produced by Yorkshire Television. The subject matter was mainly social issues and current affairs stories from around the world. It ran from 5 April 1983 to 2 November 1993, with programme being shown on the first Tuesday of the month, hence the title. In 1993, Network First was a part replacement for First Tuesday.

Trang Bang, South Vietnam, 8 June 1972. The air force mistakenly drops bombs on a temple that houses civilians. Among the group of journalists witnessing the drama, the young photographer Nick Ut realizes, on that day, the photo of his life. In her goal, a naked little girl who tries to escape the flames that devour her. This photo that embodies the hell of Vietnam has gone around the world; it continues every day, for 50 years, to haunt the life of Kim Phuc, now "the little girl in the napalm".

Through exclusive testimonies and clandestine videos, this documentary gives voice to courageous women in Iran who risked their lives to share their stories and to prominent women in culture, art and academia who were forced to leave their beloved country. They are a guiding force, able to explain through their individual, perilous and often tragic experiences, the drastic shift of a nation, caught between patriarchy, deep economic crisis, corruption, rigid religious and ideological beliefs.
