A London nightclub hostess pretends to fall for the mobster who killed her husband.

Max Miller plays a boxer's manager who fails to get fights for his simple-minded boxer. The manager sets up a scene in an American nightclub whereby his fighter gets the chance to knock down the reigning champion. The ruse fails to get the fighter a job but a female acquaintance of the champion takes a fancy to his opponent. The plot develops aboard a ship back to England.

The film features 17 year old Dinah Sheridan as the daughter of the owner of a cheese factory (veteran actor Goerge Carney), who helps save her father from the action of a couple of swindlers.

An American reporter takes over an assignment on English farm life. Owing to a mistake in identity things turn out rough but Valerie's charm and personality overcome the obstacles.

A truck driver must carry a load of dynamite. Meanwhile, his girlfriend gets mixed up with a gang that sells stolen furs. Eventually, the truck driver must rescue his girlfriend from the bad guys and blows them and their loot to Kingdom Come.
