World War II is slowly coming to an end. On the German side of the border, panic slowly breaks out and the local commander orders the local port to be mined. The Czech boatmen take advantage of the sudden confusion and decide to carry out a crazy plan: steal a German ship full of explosives and sail towards Prague, which according to fascist plans is to become the last German stronghold...

But at the same time, as a largely unheroic hero, he is dying of fear. His personal situation is greatly complicated by the approaching end of the war, when he faces danger from both the Germans and his "honest" fellow Czechs...

And that person has friends at the guesthouse where the family is staying. Of course, the mother and her fiancé find these people a little crazy. But the girl and the dog are perfectly happy with them. The life full of restrictions and obligations that the girl has led so far is becoming a thing of the past. None of the adults who find themselves in their vicinity can be sure that their lives will not change, whether they want it or not.

The fate of all main characters is unexpectedly intertwined and told through humorous and touching situations laced with subtle irony and hyperbole. Just as in life, with its funny situations and difficult tests, unexpected revelations and surprising twists, all characters will experience times when they behave blindly and forget to listen to their hearts.
