In the beginning of 1500's, during the Portuguese conquests on Indian Ocean, Red Sea, and Arabian Gulf, a village on the edge of sea revolts against the Portuguese rule and conquer after years of oppression, In pursuit of freedom.

A traveler between two countries metaphorically named "Easternstan" and "Westernstan" loses his passport and identity papers. Stuck between the two countries he can neither cross the frontiers nor get back to where he came from. He's forced to camp in the neutral area between the two countries, facing a lot of funny situations while there. The movie satirizes the ideology of Arab unity and cooperation at the state level.

Salah loves Nadia, the daughter of the employer for whom Salah works, and after Nadia's father found out about the matter, he fires Salah from work and tries to marry his daughter to one of the rich to avoid the financial crisis he is going through, but Nadia's pregnancy with Salah hinders that marriage and the father dies after being shocked by this matter and Nadia gives birth secretly.

Short movie (Al Urjouha) His story revolves around a soldier returning from the front to visit the family of his friend who died in the war. He decides to live with her and compensate for the loss of their son. He builds a solid relationship with the daughter of the martyr, who never stops playing on the "Swing" that her father made for her.
