A young married woman in the midst of an affair loses her wedding ring in the woods and must find it before the sun sets.

Bern's got an eye problem and does not want to leave the house. Light hurts him, and so does life. So he calls upon his sister-in-law Linds, who's working through grad school as a waitress but is the closest thing to a doctor he's got. As the only frustrated family left in his life, she drags him onto the streets with a pillowcase over his head to face a "real" doctor and his own anxieties.
