Wayne Dobie is a shy cop whose low-key demeanor has earned him the affectionate nickname "Mad Dog." After Mad Dog saves the life of Frank Milo, a crime boss and aspiring stand-up comedian, he's offered the company of an attractive young waitress named Glory for a week. At first both are uneasy about the arrangement, but they eventually fall in love. However, the situation becomes complicated when Milo demands Glory back.

Trying to get his act together, a con artist gets a job in a credit card company. He falls in love with a fellow employee, he steals a couple of cards, everything is going great. But soon, the chief of security drags him into the big leagues of criminals...

An unscrupulous businessman tries to win a government contract by playing up to the engineer assigned to review the project. He comes to the engineer's hotel room to offer him money, all the while secretly filming the proceedings with a hidden camera. Meanwhile the engineer, unhappily married to an alcoholic, uses the hotel room to continue his affair with the businessman's attractive young wife.

KENNY: THE MARXIST WHO WOULD BE MAYOR tells the story of Ken Cockrel Sr., a politician, attorney, and revolutionary who took on the police and the power structures of Detroit in some of its most tumultuous times from the 60’s through the 70’s. Through Cockrel’s battles both in and out of the courts, KENNY paints the story of a country undergoing rapid change, caught in a civil rights battle in which police officers were empowered to hunt and kill its citizens. Combining rare footage and interviews with those who knew him best, it charts the unbelievable rise to prominence of a radical Marxist and brilliant legal mind who took on Chrysler Corporation, the Detroit Police Department, and power structures of the entire city before his untimely death.
